Join the first leisure event of our Spouse Programme, based on popular demand and voting among the members.
You can learn about the history of the Mahen Theatre – the main drama theatre and part of the National Theatre in Brno, the first European theatre with electric lighting, installed by Edison’s company. You will hear information about the 19th century building and its construction development, but also all sorts of interesting and spicy backstage stories that you won’t hear just anywhere. You will get to places inaccessible to ordinary viewers, such as the backstage or technical areas of the theatre.
Book your place via the red button above by 21 March at the latest. Meet our guide Sylvie Pospíšilová in front of the Theatre at 12:50 pm. This excursion is free of charge for Spouse Programme members.
