An easy walk through the springtime Wilson forest to the Jurkovič House, one of the most important monuments of Art Nouveau / Arts and Crafts architecture in Brno. A guided tour, followed by refreshments in a classic pub at Rosnička with a possibility of lunch. Returning past Dagmar children’s home (linked to Brno’s main square Christmas tree story) and Kounicovy koleje student dormitory and its WW2 memorial site.
It is possible to skip the morning walk and join us for the villa visit, which starts at 11am. The Jurkovič House is located on Jana Nečase Street in Brno-Žabovřesky and is also accessible separately by tram no. 1, getting off at Stránského.
Meeting time: 10:15 am in front of St. Augustine Church at Náměstí Míru, terminus of tram no. 4. End of the trip around 2:30 – 3.00 pm.

The event primarily targets spouses and family members of highly qualified expat employees working in Brno. However, any expats interested in networking and learning about Brno and city services are welcome to join.
