First Aid Summer Tips: Parents’ minimum

This course in cooperation with Vicinis Parenting Meetup is suitable for parents, grandparents, teachers, supervisors of groups and teams, is primarily focused on dealing with the overall situation and practicing life-saving skills on children.

The course will cover:

• Summer risks and dangers, and how to avoid them
• Calling help: Integrated Rescue System (IZS) in CZ, national and EU emergency lines,
• „Záchranka“ (EMS) App,
• orientation in a Czech city and countryside.
• Communication with Medical Rescue Service, health providers, hospitals
• Injuries: from bruises to fractures, edemas and bleeding. Head and spine injuries. Drowning, cardiac arrest, CPR and AED. Foreign body aspiration. Syncope (collapse), unconsciousness, head-tilt, chin-lift technique. Sunstrokes, thermic fever, dehydration Burns Allergy, anaphylaxis, Poisoning, Other scenarios (infections, diabetes, epilepsy) Thermal comfort, transports. All situations hands-on.
