ATTENTION: DUE TO THE CLOSURE OF THE CHATEAU GARDENS AND ONGOING TRANSPORT COMPLICATIONS LINKED TO THE CURRENT WEATHER, THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED. A replacement event located in Brno and taking place next week will be announced in due course. Thank you for your understanding.
In September, you can join us for a visit to the majestic chateau of Kroměříž, a former seat of Moravian archbishops, for an individual tour of the picture gallery and the treasury and UNESCO-listed gardens. (The chateau was also used in many films – for example Amadeus by Czech director Miloš Forman or a series about the poweful Habsburg empress Maria Theresia.)
Entrance fees to the castle are paid by the participants.
Meeting point: 8.45 a.m. at the Grand Hotel bus station; connection: Regiojet bus, departure at 9.00. It is advised to buy your ticket online in advance.
Estimated return time: ca. 3 pm (or later depending on interest)
This Brno Expat Spouse Programme event primarily targets spouses and family members of highly qualified expat employees working in Brno. However, any expats interested in networking and learning about Brno and city services are welcome to join.
