Enjoy the sights around the Brno Lake during ‘indian summer’ with us and take in some fresh air.
An easy walk from the Chapel of the Mother of God, originally a parish church located about 400 m southwest of Brno’s second castle, visit of the exterior of Veveří Castle (60 CZK, refreshments available), followed by a boat trip to Sokolské koupaliště, a popular recreational spot for Brno residents, and a walk along the lake and under the dam along the Svratka River back to the ZOO tram stop (approx. 6 km in total).
Meeting point: 9 a.m. at the ZOO tram / bus terminus – platform no.6, bus no. 303 (zone 2). You will need 2 tickets for zone 3.
This Brno Expat Spouse Programme event primarily targets spouses and family members of highly qualified expat employees working in Brno. However, any expats interested in networking and learning about Brno and city services are welcome to join.
