Cool down in the heat of summer in a baroque church and a cave near Brno.
A trip to Křtiny with a visit to the Church of the Virgin Mary, a Baroque pilgrimage church built during the first half of the 18th century according to the design of the notable architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel. The entire pilgrimage site was declared a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic in 2008.
A short walk will then bring us to the Výpustek cave for a guided tour which wil take cca 75 minutes. Warmer clothes are recommended, the air temperature is 7–8 °C. Entrance fee to the cave is 170 CZK.
Meeting point: 9.00am at Stará osada, station no. 7, bus no. 201
Estimated return time: 2-3 pm
