When & Where?
17 August 2024
After a year, it’s time to explore another interesting wine place of South Moravia during our traditional August weekend outing. This time we’ll venture to Bzenec in south-eastern Moravia where a wine festival titled “Wines from Castles” is taking place.
We’ll discover a hill with a church and a beautiful view and possibly even a taster glass of wine, see the local castle (from the outside). Then we will arrive at the Kněží Hora winery for a guided tasting of wine samples, cold bowls of cheese and charcuterie, a tour of the winery and then a tour of other exhibiting wineries involved in the festival. After that, the train will take us back to Brno.
You can find more details and book your spot via www.vinicze.cz.
The cost of the trip, including transport, guided wine tasting and refreshments is CZK 850,-.
Meeting point: Main train station, 9:10 am
