Improve your English with the Brno Expat Centre

We’re launching free courses, to help you to find a job in English-speaking workplace.

The first is intended for any expat, including Ukrainian refugee, and their spouse who feels that their English level is low and wants to improve it to feel more included in the community. (English at A2 level required)

The second should provide job-seeking expats with the possibility to bring their English to a higher level, suitable for day-to-day work in the multinational companies based in Brno which have English as their main communication language. (Engllish at B1-B2 level required)

Both courses are for free

We started the courses in spring, for Ukrainians coming to Brno. Now, we’re extending the offer to other job-seeking expats and their spouses. The classes are free of charge, funded by the city of Brno, and are intended for people with Elementary (A2) knowledge of English for the first one and Intermediate (B1-B2) for the second. We plan to have groups focused on day-to-day communication and business / workplace English or CV / job interview preparation, depending on the course.

Starting at the end of October

The lessons will take place in the Brno Expat Centre Community Room, at Orlí 3 (right in the city centre). The schedule is as follows:

Beginners’ course: on Wednesdays, 6-7.30 pm. First meeting: 26 October.

Intermediate group: on Mondays, 6-7.30 pm. First meeting: 31 October.

It would be best to attend right the first meeting, but you can also join later.
