Brno Expat Fair 2025: A Celebration of Brno's International Community
On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Tržnice Brno transformed into a vibrant hub of international cultures and connections during the Living in Brno Expat Fair 2025. Over 2,000 attendees, Brno internationals originally from more than 100 countries, gathered under one roof – illustrating the diverse and inclusive spirit of Brno’s expat community.
A Day of Discovery and Connection
The four floors of Tržnice were bustling with activity as expat-friendly services, schools, barbers, employers, banks, lawyers, theatres, sport clubs, etc showcased what life in Brno has to offer. (see the full list of exhibitors)
The courtyard of the Old Town Hall was a culinary hotspot, featuring dishes from 16 international cuisines. Live performances by expat artists provided not only a lively soundtrack to the festivities, but often a tune that had people singing and dancing along.
Expert Talks and Workshops
Inside, a series of expert-led seminars and interactive workshops addressed topics pertinent to expat life in Brno. From legal advice and healthcare navigation to career development and cultural integration, attendees found valuable resources to support their journey in the city.
Community Engagement and Support
The fair also served as a platform for community building, with activities designed to foster connections. Many expats brought their families, friends and partners, but for those who didn’t, the day started with a speed-friending session, and ended with an afterparty on the roof.

The Talent Journey board
This board offered expats a chance to reflect on and share their experience in their ‘Brno journey’, from finding out about the city to feeling at home, and everything in between.
“The biggest success is that we ran out of 🟢 stickers. We even had to improvise and create hand-made stickers because people kept wanting to share their experience. At the end of the day we still had plenty of 🔴 stickers left!”
